Kerry Ann Doherty is a British-Canadian actor and director with extensive credits across Canada and in the UK. 


Born in Belfast, Kerry Ann is based in Toronto, Canada, where she is currently the Founder (along with Thom Marriott) and Artistic Director of theatreSix and the Founder and past Artistic Director of  The Little Lion Theatre Company in London, England.


After graduating in October of 2018 with her MFA from East 15, University of Essex, Kerry Ann was please to step into the  2018/19 RBC Emerging Director position for Studio 180 where she assisted Joel Greenberg on his production of OSLO, participated in their 180 In Development Series, and directed the staged reading of THE CHINESE LADY for 180 Reads.  In the winter of 2020 she directed theatreSix's  inaugural production Grounded by George Brant at the Streetcar Crowsnest Theatre starring Carly Street.

Ms. Doherty's acting work ranges from Shakespearean classics to new works to physical theatre and film/tv. She recently worked with Expect Theatre recording a short new play by Rose Napoli for their PlayMe Podcast series and shot her second episode of Murdoch Mysteries.
