Ms. Doherty's CV
Born in Belfast, Kerry Ann Doherty has been a professional theatre creator for over 25 years. Based in Toronto, Canada, she is currently the Founder and Artistic Director of theatreSix in Toronto and The Little Lion Theatre Company in London, England.
After graduating in October of 2018 with her MFA from East 15, University of Essex, Kerry Ann was please to step into the 2018/19 RBC Emerging Director position for Studio 180 where she assisted Joel Greenberg on his production of OSLO, participated in their 180 In Development Series, and directed the staged reading of THE CHINESE LADY for 180 Reads. In the Spring of 2019 Kerry Ann , along with Thom Marriott, founded theatreSix in Toronto. She recently directed their inaugural production Grounded by George Brant at the Streetcar Crowsnest Theatre starring Carly Street.

Ms. Doherty's acting work ranges from Shakespearean classics to new works to physical theatre and she recently worked with Expect Theatre recording a short new play by Rose Napoli for their PlayMe Podcast series.
